Stars' Modano, Lethinen back from injured reserve
DALLAS (AP) The Dallas Stars are getting back two of their longtime standout players.
Center Mike Modano and right wing Jere Lehtinen have been activated from injured reserve before the Stars' home game Wednesday night against Calgary.
Modano is in his 20th season and is the highest-scoring American-born player in NHL history. But he missed 13 games with a rib injury sustained in the season opener against Nashville.
Lehtinen, who has spent all 14 of his seasons in Dallas, missed the past nine games with abdominal soreness. He missed the first three games of the season with a groin injury, then skated in two games before being sidelined again.
