Analysis: Gay scored four points on 1-of-6 shooting in his worst game since he was acquired in a seven-player trade with Toronto on Dec. 9. "He was complaining at halftime about his knee, I believe," coach Mike Malone said. "He wanted to go out and give it a shot in the third quarter. He gave us some minutes and wasn't moving real well out there so we decided to shut him down."

Analysis: While Griffin also added nine rebounds, he failed to come up with any steals or blocks. His lack of defensive numbers are the only thing holding him back from becoming an absolute fantasy stud.

Analysis: Paul is averaging 25.6 points on 58.1 percent shooting over the last five games. The Clippers are 10-1 when Paul scores at least 20.
|12/17/2013||LeBron James, F||James did not practice Tuesday because of a sprained left ankle and his status for Miami's game against Indiana on Wednesday night is unknown.
Analysis: James tweaked the ankle with just under 2 minutes remaining of the third quarter in Monday's win over Utah. James returned to the game in the fourth and was able to finish, but woke up Tuesday with soreness and pain. Heat coach Erik Spoelstra says it was only a light workout that James missed, adding that the four-time NBA MVP was better served spending that time getting treatment.
|12/17/2013||Chris Smith, G||The New York Knicks have recalled guard Chris Smith from Erie of the NBA Development League after yet another injury to their backcourt.
Analysis: Pablo Prigioni broke his right big toe in Monday's loss to Washington, joining fellow point guard Raymond Felton among the injured. So Smith, who hasn't played for the Knicks this season, will return to the team. Smith, younger brother of Knicks guard J.R. Smith, has averaged 11.3 points in six games for Erie.

Analysis: Stoudemire wrote on his Twitter page that he was not injured. "Body & Knees feel great!" he wrote.
|12/17/2013||Tony Parker, PG||Parker limped off the court with a right shin contusion with 5:09 left in the third in Monday's blowout loss to the Clips.
Analysis: Parker finished with eight points and six assists in 26 minutes, and didn't speak with reporters afterward. Spurs coach Gregg Popovich said Parker was in pain and having trouble walking on it, so he had to be taken out of the game.

Analysis: Lin could miss some time for Kevin McHale's club, which is being tight-lipped about the extent of the problem.

Analysis: Walker scored 24 for the second straight game and is in action Tuesday in Toronto so ride him if you think he is hot.

Analysis: Henderson is in his fifth season with the Bobcats and has developed into a starter although he needs to expand his game to crack your fantasy lineup.

Analysis: Cousins had 30 points and 17 rebounds and continues to emerge as a bonafide candidate for all-NBA fantasy league honors. He's got five straight double-doubles and 13 on the season.

Analysis: Thomas' shabby assist total didn't help his fantasy night and also hurt the Kings, who shot 37.5 percent from the field thanks in part to his poor ball movement.
|12/17/2013||Kobe Bryant, SG||Bryant scored 21 points in his sixth game of the season, and the Los Angeles Lakers closed out a four-game road trip with a 96-92 victory over the Memphis Grizzlies on Tuesday night.
Analysis: Bryant, who was 4 of 14 for eight points in the loss in Atlanta on Monday, was active right from the start in Memphis. He missed his first two shots and had two quick turnovers. But he hit four of his first eight shots before going to the locker room apparently to help keep warm rather than just chillin' on the bench. Slowly but surely, the legendary Bryant is finding his fantasy groove.

Analysis: Trade rumors continue to swirl around Gasol, and it's hard to know how he will perform for fantasy owners since he could be on the move. Monitor the situation closely.
