MEXICO CITY (AP) Minnesota Timberwolves forward Andrew Wiggins scored 19 points to help Canada beat Puerto Rico 112-92 on Friday night for its third straight victory in the Olympic qualifying tournament.

Cory Joseph, Nik Stauskas and Kelly Olynik added 15 points each, Brady Heslip had 13, and Philip Scrubb 11 for the Canadian team that that fields nine NBA players and is considered one of the favorites to win one of the two berths to Rio.

"It doesn't matter how many NBA players we have because we're still a young team in international competition. Every game we are learning a little bit more," Canadian coach Jay Triano said. "We are OK right now, but we need to be very good next week."
