Analysis: The 31-year-old Bonifacio batted .129 with no extra-base hits and 11 strikeouts in 31 at-bats over 15 games. He was signed by Atlanta in the offseason, released April 6, and then re-signed to a minor league deal four days later.

One problem: Bonifacio isn't eligible to be on the Braves' 25-man roster until Saturday because it hasn't been 30 days since he was released by the Braves and re-signed to a minor.
Analysis: Because Withrow had already left Chicago, the Braves had only 24 players, even as Bonifacio wandered around the Braves clubhouse Sunday morning. The Braves are expected to call up another player before Monday's game against the New York Mets.

Analysis: Bonifacio hit .167 in 78 at-bats with the Chicago White Sox last season.
