The A's made the move Wednesday before playing the Cleveland Indians. Analysis: Reddick hurt his wrist colliding with the wall in foul territory while chasing a pop on April 7 at Houston. He missed three games, but the injury was not improving. Reddick is batting just .152 - third lowest in the AL - with one home run and 14 RBIs in 29 games. |

Reddick appeared to injure his right wrist when he fell chasing down a foul ball hit by Marwin Gonzalez in the fifth inning. Analysis: He remained on the ground and was looked at by trainers for a couple of minutes before getting up and walking to the dugout. He was holding his right wrist as he left the field. After the injury, Seth Smith moved from left field to right, and Yoenis Cespedes entered the game at left field. |
