|Dec. 6 8:29 AM PT9:29 AM MT10:29 AM CT11:29 AM ET4:29 PM GMT12:29 AM 北京时间-Steve Slaton is inactive for the game at Jacksonville on Sunday.
Analysis: Slaton missed practice Friday with an injured right shoulder. He has struggled with the injury for about three weeks and has been experiencing numbness in his right thumb. Chris Brown is expected to start in his place.
|Nov. 9 2:56 PM PT3:56 PM MT4:56 PM CT5:56 PM ET10:56 PM GMT6:56 AM 北京时间-Slaton only got six carries in a 20-17 loss to Indianapolis, but he did find the end zone.
Analysis: Perhaps more important for his fantasy value were the problems Ryan Moats had. Moats was held to 38 yards on 16 carries, and if he continues to struggle, it may be hard for coach Gary Kubiak to keep Slaton on the bench for too long, despite his fumbling issues.
|Nov. 8 8:24 AM PT9:24 AM MT10:24 AM CT11:24 AM ET4:24 PM GMT12:24 AM 北京时间-Ryan Moats will start Sunday at Indianapolis in place of Slaton, who was benched last week because of fumbling problems.
Analysis: It's likely the talented Slaton will still get some touches, but he's a very shaky fantasy play until it becomes clear how coach Gary Kubiak intends to use him.
|Nov. 2 1:01 PM PT2:01 PM MT3:01 PM CT4:01 PM ET9:01 PM GMT5:01 AM 北京时间-Slaton was sent to the bench after losing his fifth fumble of the season in a 31-10 win over Buffalo on Sunday.
Analysis: After Ryan Moats came in and became the first player in franchise history to score three touchdowns in one game, totaling 126 yards on the ground, Slaton's situation became very unclear. Gary Kubiak won't say who the starter is going forward, but this doesn't bode well for Slaton's fantasy value either way. Be sure to scoop up Moats if he's still available in your league.
|Oct. 26 9:37 AM PT10:37 AM MT11:37 AM CT12:37 PM ET5:37 PM GMT1:37 AM 北京时间-Slaton carried 18 times for 67 yards Sunday in a 24-21 win over the 49ers. He also had four catches for 22 yards.
Analysis: Slaton has averaged 3.1 yards per carry and the Texans have not run the ball well despite their 4-3 start.
|Oct. 12 11:57 AM PT12:57 PM MT1:57 PM CT2:57 PM ET7:57 PM GMT3:57 AM 北京时间-Slaton rushed for 39 yards on 13 attempts and caught six passes for 59 yards in Sunday's 28-21 loss to Arizona.
Analysis: Slaton has gotten off to a slow start to the season with two touchdowns in five games. Next Sunday, the Texans visit a Cincinnati team that is 12th against the run, allowing an average of 98.8 yards per game.
|Oct. 5 2:06 PM PT3:06 PM MT4:06 PM CT5:06 PM ET10:06 PM GMT6:06 AM 北京时间-Slaton had a rushing and receiving touchdown in Sunday's 29-6 win over the Raiders.
Analysis: After scoring 10 touchdowns last season, Slaton finally got in the end zone in Week 4 of 2009. Next Sunday, the Texans visit the Cardinals, who have allowed just eight touchdowns through four games.
|Sep. 21 2:50 PM PT3:50 PM MT4:50 PM CT5:50 PM ET10:50 PM GMT6:50 AM 北京时间-Slaton rushed for just 34 yards on 17 carries in Sunday's 34-31 win over the Titans.
Analysis: Slaton has gotten off to a slow start to the season, rushing for 51 yards on 26 attempts.
|Sep. 14 11:06 AM PT12:06 PM MT1:06 PM CT2:06 PM ET7:06 PM GMT3:06 AM 北京时间-Slaton totaled 17 yards on nine carries and didn't score as the Texans' offense was shut down in a season-opening 24-7 loss to the Jets on Sunday.
Analysis: Slaton rushed for 1,282 yards and nine touchdowns as a rookie in 2008, but his sophomore campaign got off to a slow start. It was the second-least productive game of his young career. "It's just insane," Slaton said. "You work for six months leading up to this first game. You have all offseason to prepare for this game and then to come out and play like that is upsetting." Slaton could have a hard time bouncing back against a stout Tennessee defense next Sunday.
