|Nov. 27, 20162:02 PM PT3:02 PM MT4:02 PM CT5:02 PM ET22:02 GMT6:02 AM 北京时间3:02 PM MST5:02 PM EST4:02 PM CT2:02 UAE (+1)17:02 ETNaN: - Josh McCown was 25 of 43 for 322 yards and threw one touchdown pass Sunday in the Cleveland Browns' 27-13 loss to the New York Giants. He did not throw an interception, fumbled twice and was sacked seven times.
Analysis: McCown gave it his best shot and put up decent fantasy numbers, but don't count on that happening too often.
|Nov. 21, 20169:51 AM PT10:51 AM MT11:51 AM CT12:51 PM ET17:51 GMT1:51 AM 北京时间10:51 AM MST12:51 PM EST11:51 AM CT21:51 UAE12:51 ETNaN: - McCown will start Sunday against the New York Giants with rookie quarterback Cody Kessler in concussion protocol.
Analysis: Kessler was hurt Sunday against Pittsburgh. McCown replaced him and was roughed up as well by the Steelers, who had eight sacks after entering the game with 13 all season. Don't expect McCown to fare much better against the Giants.
|Nov. 20, 20162:54 PM PT3:54 PM MT4:54 PM CT5:54 PM ET22:54 GMT6:54 AM 北京时间3:54 PM MST5:54 PM EST4:54 PM CT2:54 UAE (+1)17:54 ETNaN: - Josh McCown was 14 of 27 for 118 yards and threw one touchdown pass Sunday in the Cleveland Browns' 24-9 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers. He did not throw an interception, fumbled once and was sacked four times. McCown added 11 rushing yards on two carries.
Analysis: McCown could be the starter next week after Cody Kessler suffered his second concussion this season, but he still might not have much fantasy value.
|Nov. 10, 20168:20 PM PT9:20 PM MT10:20 PM CT11:20 PM ET4:20 GMT12:20 AM 北京时间9:20 PM MST11:20 PM EST10:20 PM CT8:20 UAE23:20 ETNaN: - Josh McCown was 6 of 13 for 59 yards and didn't throw a touchdown pass Thursday in the Cleveland Browns' 28-7 loss to the Baltimore Ravens. He threw two interceptions, fumbled once and was sacked three times.
Analysis: McCown was terrible in relief of Cody Kessler and does not have any fantasy value at the moment.
|Oct. 28, 20169:37 AM PT10:37 AM MT11:37 AM CT12:37 PM ET16:37 GMT12:37 AM 北京时间9:37 AM MST11:37 AM EST11:37 AM CT20:37 UAE12:37 ETNaN: - McCown played Sunday for the first time since Week 2, going 25 of 49 for 341 yards with two touchdowns and two interceptions.
Analysis: The 14th-year pro has been sidelined since Sept. 18, when he broke his left collarbone against Baltimore. McCown began the season as the backup to Robert Griffin III before both injured their non-throwing shoulders.
|Oct. 10, 201612:39 PM PT1:39 PM MT2:39 PM CT3:39 PM ET19:39 GMT3:39 AM 北京时间12:39 PM MST2:39 PM EST2:39 PM CT23:39 UAE15:39 ET18:39 - On Wednesday, McCown practiced for the first time since breaking his left collarbone in Week 2 and had plenty of zip on his passes.
Analysis: The Browns have been ravaged by injuries, especially at quarterback. Robert Griffin III broke a bone in his left shoulder in the opener and remains sidelined; McCown broke his collarbone the following week; and Cody Kessler went down on Sunday, forcing the Browns to bring in Charlie Whitehurst, who injured his left knee in the final minutes.
|Sep. 23, 201611:11 AM PT12:11 PM MT1:11 PM CT2:11 PM ET18:11 GMT2:11 AM 北京时间11:11 AM MST1:11 PM EST1:11 PM CT22:11 UAE14:11 ET17:11 - McCown played the final three quarters of Cleveland's Week 2 loss to the Baltimore Ravens with a broken collarbone. He's been ruled out for Week 3 because of the injury.
Analysis: The Browns, who list the veteran quarterback as week-to-week, confirmed the injury Friday after defensive coordinator Ray Horton disclosed the severity of what the team previous termed a "shoulder injury." McCown ran to the locker room after he took a hit in the first quarter but returned to play through the painful injury. It was the second time he fractured his collarbone; McCown missed five games with the injury in 2015.
|Sep. 19, 20167:31 AM PT8:31 AM MT9:31 AM CT10:31 AM ET14:31 GMT10:31 PM 北京时间7:31 AM MST9:31 AM EST9:31 AM CT18:31 UAE10:31 ET13:31 - McCown, who started the Week 2 loss at home to the Baltimore Ravens, is likely to head back to the sideline - or injured reserve - with a severe shoulder injury of his own. An MRI exam scheduled for Monday afternoon will determine Cleveland's course of action.
Analysis: McCown, a journeyman who lost playing time in each of the past three seasons because of long-term injuries, is not ready to commit to sitting.
|Sep. 18, 20162:46 PM PT3:46 PM MT4:46 PM CT5:46 PM ET21:46 GMT5:46 AM 北京时间2:46 PM MST4:46 PM EST4:46 PM CT1:46 UAE (+1)17:46 ET20:46 - McCown played through an injured left shoulder and finished 20 of 33 for 260 yards with two touchdowns and two interceptions Sunday in his season debut, a 25-20 loss to the Ravens. He guided the Browns to touchdowns on each of their first three possessions but that would be all their scoring for the day.
Analysis: Filling in for Robert Griffin III, McCown couldn't lift his left arm and his eyes welled with tears as he talked about staying on the field. He said his "plan" is to play next week against Miami, but the Browns may have to turn to rookie Cody Kessler. McCown has now lost five straight and 14 of his last 15 starts.
|Sep. 12, 201610:40 AM PT11:40 AM MT12:40 PM CT1:40 PM ET17:40 GMT1:40 AM 北京时间10:40 AM MST12:40 PM EST12:40 PM CT21:40 UAE13:40 ET16:40 - McCown is suddenly the Browns' starting quarterback again after Robert Griffin III was placed on IR with a shoulder injury suffered in the team's 29-10 loss to the Eagles in Week 1.
Analysis: Griffin will miss at least eight weeks, so McCown should at least be under center for half the season. He played well in eight starts last season, throwing 12 TDs to just four interceptions, but he's not working with much of a supporting cast.
